Today I have been reunited with my brother !
I'ts sad really because there was no row or anything, just a difference of opinion, me being the youngest of 5 siblings , was always thought of as 'spoilt' and I was.... so a lot of jealousy was incurred, but when you get older and go your seperate ways...it seems all so trivial, and age brings with it, an understanding of other peoples feelings, does anyone else think that when a Mum dies, the catalyst of the family goes with her?
I am so pleased to have spoken to my brother on the phone today, I hope this is the start of a very good New Year for both of us.

Good for you Joy. I haven't spoken to my Mum for 6 years following a row. Recently I spoke to one of my cousins about it and said I would like to speak to her. She told me there's no point because my Mum's Alzheimers has got so bad she doesn't know who I am any more!
I have one of the most dysfunctinal families on the planet Bobbi.lol
I never got on with my elder sister for years.......I was always getting into trouble mainly due to men and she was the goody goody (married now for 42 years) and I thought she disapproved of me. I had a lot of health issues about 5 years ago and she heard about this and helped me an awful lot..........she is now my best friend.
hi bobbi x, hope yous have a braw Christmas and new-year and many more to follow
my brother is the oldest male in the family so he's boss as far as i'm concerned even when he's wrong which is not very often, so we don't ever fall out in a bad way

must be about 20 yrs redman, I have a lovely sister who lives in NZ who I love dearly, she is getting quite old now as she was the second oldest, a brother who lived in Weston Super Mare died of cancer, he was the eldest, another sister....whoaaaaa and OMG, she is Hyacyth Bouquet personified !!!! and she is the third eldest, her and I don't get along at all !!! then my brother who is three yrs older than me, there were two 'sets' so to speak, my Dad was in the RAF so the others were born in that perion whilst me and my brother came along after he was demobbed so there is a large gap between Hyacinth and my brother !
