Al Fresco Eating

We have friends coming round later so I've made a start on Chicken Basque a la Delia, will finish it off once they're here, we're having it with some fancy bread. Pud is Madeira cake with strawberries, raspberries, raspberry coulis and cream. There's a huge jug of English Garden Cocktail chilling in the fridge, and another of Cosmopolitan, along with two bottles of prosecco and some beers.
It's so hot and sunny here we'll be eating outside.
You got anything special planned for this lovely summery Friday?

I'm lying on the sofa and I haven't got the strength to faint. Worst head cold ever (it's already been on the chest).

OH has said he'll fetch me a mega hot curry from the Indian tonight. Hopefully that'll sort this horrid bug out.

Fresh tuna steaks and scollops...with something, I haven't decided yet. Maybe a mixed spicy tomato salsa with noodles.

Had the heating on all day here. On the local news they said its colder today than it was on Christmas day last year.

A heart echogram if the ward doctor can fit me in.Failing that I should keep on ice until Monday followed by a tasteless sandwich and a yoghurt wased down with a min of 1ltr of water served in a plastic jug. Evening entertainment will be the snoring and trumping

retro - drinking water that isn't chilled to perfection is a horrible thought.

I am having toast with Primula cheese washed down with a bottle of 7-up that is so lovely and cold.

I am now away to serve Felix with Tuna in Jelly - warmed to the 'just killed' temperature.
