Thursday. Well it's stopped raining for a while. I've had to put the heating on to get the washing to dry. So much for summer. I lied, I've just looked out and it's raining.
The trip to Stroud might happen today then.

I've just this moment decided to make a sausage, bacon and egg pie for lunch. Haven't done one of those for a few years.

Good morning WBM.

I haven't looked out but it sounds dry, long may it last! I've already had my shower this morning and don't fancy another today, although as the window cleaner is due it is bound to rain.

If the weather holds I might take myself off for lunch somewhere.

I'm now off to strip a bed and put the pan stands in the dishwasher so that I can give the hob a good seeing too. Neither machine will be turned on until it is proper daylight, solar panels are great but they make me stingy about when I use electricity!

It's stopped raining for the moment, but I think it will be back.

It looks like you have today organised already. I gave the cooker a clean yesterday, it needed it. Stroud could wait until tomorrow, depends on the weather.
I wouldn't mind solar panels, they must make a good saving.

Well that's my breakfast ruined :-(

I rarely eat breakfast but as I was up at stupid o'clock I thought I'd have one of the nectarines I bought yesterday. I nearly picked up a packet of white fleshed ones which irrationally dislike, and then spotted some yellow fleshed ones.

Just opened the packet to find they are the nectarines furry cousin. I HATE peaches :-(
