does anyone know where I can buy maple sugar, cream and butter from a uk mail order company? I know I can get it straight from Canada and the US but the p and p and customs make this very expensive.

I.ordered a fitted grey valance sheet from ebay today ( go me!) and inadvertently used hija's account so now have to send her a giro and I was hoping it was on Mr Ns card and I wouldnt have to pay!!

ooh, I must have a secret admirer, I got a Christmas card today with no message, no signature, no return address, I didn't recognise the address and I couldn't read the postmark. Just fancy, someone out there thinks I am worth a first class stamp.

Tomorrow we go to see Rod Stewart along the road at Wembley. Bit of a hike from station to stadium but OH was finally summoned for a foot scan today and it looks as if it will confirm the diagnosis we got weeks ago from Dr Google. Something neuroma and not easy to fix, but knowing what it is will be a start.

woofgang, yes, I think that's it. OH has very sensibly looked at the tickets and discovered it's not at Wembley after all, it's the other side of town at the O2. Thank heavens for the Jubilee line which links the two.

Ahh I see I am here! Damp and.miserable and not at all xmassy today. I chased up a parcel of pressies which has been 4 weeks in the mail, and it had arrived so I collected it instead of waiting another two days for delivery!! Couldntndo.any shopping as left cash card at home. The lady in the bedding shop has told me to take in the duvet covers and she will measure it for me!
Anyone watch Sticks and Stones last night? I found it very uncomfortable viewing as I hate bullying in any way shape or form!
I am envious of anyone who has a life and who goes to concerts!! Bah humbug!!

Morning all. Diz and miz again but I think the temperature's rising. Australia is frying it seems. :(

I saw some of Sticks and Stones but I didn't like it either, I'm not in the mood for angst and misery.
I've never been one for concerts, being stuck in the middle of a massive stadium would freak me out anyway. Michael Bubbly's coming to Derby next summer but it's outdoor and standing.... best area £200. I don't think I'll bother.

The shoes and bag arrived (2 days early). Not sure that even at sale price I like the shoes enough, but I'll keep the bag. It's only small but I really don't think I need to carry so much stuff around with me, I very rarely visit another planet.
