maple syrup products

does anyone know where I can buy maple sugar, cream and butter from a uk mail order company? I know I can get it straight from Canada and the US but the p and p and customs make this very expensive.

Its not just EU citizens Shaney. I looked into renewing my UK passport. Because its old (expired in 2001) I have to apply as though I have never had a UK passport including a possible interview at my nearest passport office which is more than an hours drive away and cheerfully tells me that no parking is available there which means public transport which means a taxi then a train then a taxi. I can't leave the dogs for that long even with my sister here and again the website cheerfully tells me that I cannot choose my date or time of appointment.....and this is supposed to be the "easy" online route. I was somewhat optimistically thinking oh they won't call me for interview but when I asked my friend to be the one who validates my picture, she said that one of her work colleagues who is over 60, uk born and resident recently applied for a passport and so did her husband. he didn't get called for interview and she did!

They don't make life easy do they.It would be the same here.Mr S would have to make an appt at the embassy and then get a train from here to Norwich then on to London.You have to book in advance for a cheap fare otherwise it can be over a hundred quid one way and with Greater Anglia's dismal performance lately you could turn up and find the train cancelled .Plus the anxiety factor for him with his contraption.

Just renewed Mr Ns passport all online andnon my phone. Took 5 mins and was so simple. Even took the photo. I can believe how it was. Now have to send off old passport. He will be without an passport when Brexit happens!!
Shaney all legal foreigners in Spain need a residence card. We have a permanent number which doesnt change.

went to see Hamilton tonight, the hip hop musical. It was very good even with my cranky hearing - Mrs Hamilton had a lovely blues voice but I had such trouble making out her words. Quite a boisterous audience too - clapping every song (the entire thing is song, no dialogue) but also cheering some of the loudest ones. Maybe they were Americans.

It's cold here and I am pleased.
Glad to be back to normal.
Dreading Brexit but its the unknown that worries me.

neti, one of OH's ancestors knew all those people. He had a riverboat on the Thames but he ended up ferrying weapons from France to America for Benjamin Franklin. As a reward he was granted land on the James River in Virginia where all the early presidents lived. Unfortunately it seems to be no longer in the family. But he was practically a Founding Father!

Oh jno that is amazing! We apparently I herited some land in Israel thank to Mr Ns ancestors but there are so many heirs that we bowed out as it was costing too much money to apositil all our paperwork and really the outcome didnt seem too bright so it throwing good money ( we spend £250) after bad!

Need more than that! Its freezing and I cant get the gas fire to light! Am huddled up in sweaters and leggings and socks and scarf and wrapped in a blanket! I can't work the new gas fire, Mr N has no trouble and all it entails is pressing a button!!!

You're all very kind .Thank you.
I don't know about birthday ,it was more like death warmed up day.
I took myself to the doctor this morning and have antibiotics .It seems I have a bad sinus infection.Hopefully the meds will dry it all up.She advised me to get a humidifier.Thing is I don't go out much to get any fresh air and feel permanently bunged up.
I'll have to put my coat on and go and sit in the garden :)
No other news ,same old .

Hello shaney? Is it just old age or a virus? I managed tonlight the fire, it was so cold and I was determined to get the better of the b thing and after several pings and pongs it exploded and then settled down. Oh the warmth! Well pleased! It raining now and satellite keeps going off! Grrr. Grantchester starts tonight!!

I had a sourdough gluten free pizza from M&S for dinner. Never again. That wasn't just vegan cardboard, it was Marks and Spencer vegan cardboard.

Morning all
Sounds revolting Jno.I don't like pizza at all. They take the pizz with their prices.They had a chocolate yule log at Christmas advertised on the tele.Fifteen quid! No way would I pay that.
They've got a small shop and cafe in the hospital and we have bought a few bits in there when at appointments but it's not somewhere I would regularly shop for food.
My computer is on a go slow.It takes ages to boot up and I don't know why.
The sun is trying to get out after a dull start.
