does anyone know where I can buy maple sugar, cream and butter from a uk mail order company? I know I can get it straight from Canada and the US but the p and p and customs make this very expensive.

having said that, OH has just returned from some sort of gardening fair where this year's plants and gadgets are introduced. The big gadget seems to be a thingamajig you put on the hose so it magnetises the water and makes the plants grow bigger. It says to be careful it doesn't stop your watch or wipe your credit cards.

Oh I couldn't be trusted with one of those
oh my giddy aunt, the mind boggles. I'd be tempted to spray myself. Probably just end up with a bigger t-shirt.
:)
this is it, first item

Ooh I'd love one of those .I can think of lots of things and people I could spray with it :)
It's been a lovely sunny day here but cold.I'm staying put although I did venture out yesterday to get my wig done but doubt I'll be going anywhere else for the time being.
I had a text from the surgery who want me to go for a medication review but I told them no and I would be very grateful if they could just renew my prescription as I feel ok .It's the thyroid meds they want to check but she said that was fine if I'm fine and they'll continue to issue them for now.
I have to admit to going round with disinfectant as my immune system isn't good with having various ologies. There haven't been any cases here as yet but around 9,000 Norwich fans travelled to London today to watch them play Spurs in the FA cup.I hope they don't bring any germs back with them.
Hope you're all jogging along though.Keep calm and Dettol on.

very modest of you, shaney, I'd be going round wiping my enemies' credit cards.
Robi hope you are feeling better. I'm just worried about my age and my multitude of algias!
I bought a lovely faux leather bomber jacket today cheap as it stinks of mould (mold?) I've sprayed it with febreze etc. And it is swinging in the breeze. Wondering if i wash it, will it remove the smell! Says dont wash but that doesnt worry me too much. Opinions buddies please. If I ruin it it's ok for the cheapness but it really looks nice on and no others available!!
Err what jno!! I opened that bigsta link and got a porn picture saying my husband would love it! I didnt wait around !!!
goodness! It's still there for me - okay, there are photos of a couple of pansies as well, which I trust your husband wouldn't like. Maybe the Spanish version of the site throws up different links?

It's on the top of this page for me as well

That's better jno!
Well I gave in and washed the stinky jacket and have completely ruined it. I am furious with myself as it looked really good on! All the faux has started to peel off!
Good evening...it's a dark one tonight, very cold wind again.
No watering porn here, just another dubious gizmo I reckon. Maybe it works in ideal weather but I won't bother buying one.

Oh dear, no faux neti? I bought a faux suede biker style jacket and that is washable. A dress I saw in Debenhams a few weeks ago is now half price....trying to resist.
I'm up and down healthwise, I'm fine for a while and then it's as if my power's suddenly switched off. It's not just myself I'm worried about with this virus, Tarquin works in a multi national company, visitors coming in and out from afar, Mrs T is a mexico and the boys are obviously at school. (sigh)
Better get stocked up with Complan.
Off to do some comfort eating...there's a jacket spud the size of a small planet ready now with a tub of lurpak and a mountain of grated chs :)

....might take a peek at Debenhams......
you certainly won't get lost in the snow with that, woofgang.. In fact it may even be visible from otuer space. Nice colour.

We got a big plastic punnet of strawberries from CostCo the other day. They are very tasty. But halfway down it today, I found one half-eaten. Eww. No idea whether it happened in Spain or CostCo.
Question Author
oh yuk
Nice jacket woofy and cheap enough
I am still fuming at myself although it was only cheap it was a one off!!
Ate the strawberries deom huelva j o? They are the delicious ones..we buy a huge punnet of them weekly at the moment. But only I appear to eat them as he cant find them haha! I love jacket pots oozing with butter and cheese. Oh yum.
I do love a denim jacket, that's a lovely cheerful one woofy. Bargain price. Hope we have some spring weather soon.
Question Author
oh goodness so do I. The patio was a running stream again this morning. Its block paved and under normal circs the water just permeates through or runs off into the grass but the soil just won't take any more.
Woofy ..I love that jacket. Mind you pink is not my colour ,if only they had it in blue:(
That was a bit of a faux pas then Neti. I've got a faux suede jacket in silver grey but I haven't washed it yet.I've only worn it once. I really shouldn't buy any clothes as I don't go anywhere to wear what I already have but I've got my eye on a jacket in Tu and might pounce if they reduce it.
Very dull here today compared to yesterday.Otherwise same old, different day.
Night all.
Am more annoyed now. Went to buy another jacket and they dont have the burgundy colour that I want. Also they all stink of mold so have given up.
Question Author
Shaney they do have them in denim blue, may not be reduced at the mo but worth keeping an eye. I also have got a rather nice rust corduroy one. Pink jacket arrived today and I love it. Sorry to heat that Neti, very annoying.
