Interesting ideas for Gammon Steaks

Does anyone have any interesting ideas for Gammon Steaks. I'm fed up having pineapple and chips with it. Ta. x

I bought a bacon chop a while ago (not too different to gammon) and it had a mustard and dill marinade on it. It was very tasty indeed and seemed very tender too. Or, (again its not gammon i have this with but roasted ham) mashed potatoes and onion sauce. Not very adventurous but comforting food all the same.

try marinading it, i have amde all sorts to go with gammon but my fave is a barbeque one

we're having gammon tonight lol... i'm serving it with corn on cob, and spinach wilted in butter with a little nutmeg...

and new potatoes with a nice salad....

Grill one side then turn over and coat the second side with sweet chilli sauce to give it a bit of a zing.

Mmmm, I didnt realise that there were so many things that you could do to them to liven them up. All sound delish!

Miss out the pineapple if you want but grill the steak and when it is almost done top with a slice of pineapple, half a tomato and slices of (mature cheddar) cheese. Grill until the cheese is bubbling.

Try adding some apple sauce on the steak and then melted cheese on the top. It's lovely!
