I always go hungry at work even though I have a deep filled sandwich and a chocolate bar. What kind of snacks do you suggest I take that are healthier? I dont want to have to use the work kettle which is scaley so no pot noodle type snacks please!

Pasta/rice salads, thermos of nice hot homemade soup, fresh fruit salad.
rice cakes - those snack-a-jack type.
Rather then a chocolate bar what about those go-ahead bars or there's quite a selection of them now.
Do you have the use of a microwave - if so, take something from home that can be reheated at work. i.e. jacket potato.
You could take some chili con carne, heat it up & eat it with tortillas(dorito style ones)
Hope that gives you food for thought!
Fruit and or nuts and or seeds - very healthy and makes sure you get your five-a-day. Bananas are particularly good for energy/to fill you up.

Drink water, too - it will literally fill you.

Watch the nuts for excess salt and if you are concerned about fat intake (but probably better than the chocolate anyway, unless it's high cocoa-solids (70%) chocolate).
Bread and choc won't do you much good. Read the Carol Vorderman detox diet! Eat low GI foods which are high residue and fill you up for longer- take a bag of them with you and graze throughout the day when you get hungry. Things like porridge and banana for breakfast, oat cakes, rice cakes, peanut butter, houmous, honey, nuts, seeds, fruit, also wheat free pasta made into pasta salads in a lunch box. Cereal bars from Holland and Barratt are good- usually the pure fruit ones rather than the added sugar ones. Also rye bread if you like it. Drink lots of green or camomile tea. Not only will this keep your blood sugar ticking over, you will be the healthiest person at work!
Have a big breakfast - a big bowl of porridge or wholemeal toast with poached egg, and a glass of juice. Snack on fruit and seeds, try dried fruit aswell although this can be high in sugars / cals. Instead of a (white?) sandwich for lunch, have a wholemeal bap filled with tuna and salad, or JP with coleslaw and salad - whatever it is bulk it out with salad, you're upping your fruit and veg intake and filling yourself up, either homemade soup or one of those fresh soups in the plastic tubs, with a wholemeal roll or a masive plate of salad with a bit of cheese and a wholemeal roll.

Make sure you are drinking enough water, as often, your body "feels" hungry when it is in fact thirsty.
I snack on carrot sticks, celery and other raw veggies and fruit which help satisfy my hunger. Also unsalted nuts, the occasional plain biscuit and cereal bars. I recently discovered Ryvita Breaks - Ryvita with honey and raisins and they're really good. Lots of water also helps keep the hunger pangs at bay inbetween meals. However at this time of year there are lots of sweets and biscuits in the office which are too tempting!
if a kettle is a problem for you, why not buy a travel kettle from Argos and keep it in your office drawer ?
