At the hairdressers last night..

I was offered a cup of coffee or tea, the first two offers of tea never turned up, so I eventually had a cup of coffee. Then I saw three people given a glass of wine and a lad had a beer. I have never been offered a drink in all my time there, spent hundreds of pounds with them, divulged my life story to various people, spent 2 and three quarter hours in there last night and one mangey cup of luke of instant coffee and a hair cut half finished! Do you get annoyed with your hairdresser

I haven't been to the hairdresser in over a year now,I desperately need a haircut but because of my lung condition I can't go to a salon,the chemicals they use for perming and dyeing etc. make it very difficult for me to breathe.
I have a choice of several salons round here,one is very expensive and full of snobby people and the others seem to be full of older ladies having blue rinses.lol

had my hair cut this morning.............never got offered any refreshment............I am getting a bit worried about the hairdresser as he keeps stroking my hair and saying....mmmm lovely :-(

I have thought about getting a mobile hairdresser to come round but don't know any,i'm loathe to just pick one out of the phonebook because they might be rubbish or not properly qualified. None of my family and friends have ever used one so can't go by word of mouth/recommendation either.lol

I always go for the 'muff nudge' (the light brushing of your favourite female hairdresser's crotch against your elbow whilst she leans forward to cut your hair) :-)

I can't stand sitting in the hairdressers - apart from the wonderful hair wash & head massage, the rest is sooo noisy & time consuming.

I go to a hairdresser's home - she has made one of her integral garages into a salon. It's peaceful - you don't have loads of women all yakking over each other, or hairdryers going at the same time!

Daffy I'm sure there's a good hairdresser out there that would come to you - just sit back & enjoy it. ;o}

Got my hair cut tues - very happy with it. Was offered coffee twice - when hair is being washed the chair massages very nicely thank you so all in all - very happy - oh and there 20% off at the moment

do you have a local college that does hair and beauty, i used to get my hair cut there but point being the teachers/lecturers? not sure what they were called anyway they were proff hairdressers who did mobile as a sideline, i'm sure if nothing else you could get a decent recommendation

My friend Mel is a mobile hairdresser and she comes to me. I do, however, take my Mum to her local hairdressers every 2 weeks, we do get offered a cup of tea/coffee, but to be honest unless you are up to date with your tetanus shots, its best to give it a miss...........
