Corner kitchen sink
6 Answers
Just wondering whether anyone has any experience of using a corner kitchen sink? I am having my kitchen refitted and I have a choice of either a sink set into the worktop with the base unit being diagonal across the corner of the kitchen, or whether to have an "L" shaped base unit with an angled sink set into the worktop. I could have either design, but am just not sure which to chose. I am anxious not to make a mistake as I am spending several thousand pounds and want to get it right. Any thoughts gratefully received.

I think that as I will be having a dishwasher fitted, the sink will be secondary rather than the main facility to wash dishes. Think I will take a chance on it. The only other alternative is to put the sink underneath cabinets which is probably worse than having it in a corner. Thanks again. Much appreciated
What hasn't been mentioned is that whilst a corner sink looks great, you can loose alot of space in your kitchen . Also you will have a diagonal joint either side if the sink which will be quite close to the actual sink top, not a problem if your having granite, but too much moisture day in and day out will take its toll on joints in laminated worktops , no matter how well you think you have glued or cylaconed the joint.
