Anyone else think this is a really stupid design?

I've just fired off my very first ever consumer/Victor Meldrew complaint email to a manufacturer. Regarding the new Vosene shampoo bottle design

Just picking it off the shelf in the shop, the damn thing slithered through my hands to the floor, then made another bid for freedom when I picked it up. It's going to be interesting using this in the shower. I wonder if I can sue for bruised toes?
Anyone else think this design is stupid beyond belief?

I agree that it's daft. (It would make more sense if the top had a hook for hanging up in the shower).
However I humbly suggest that it's not as daft as this:

That's a bottle of Avon's Tai Winds Aftershave, just like the one I was given in the mid-1970s. The base is made of very heavy glass but the top is just...

That's a bottle of Avon's Tai Winds Aftershave, just like the one I was given in the mid-1970s. The base is made of very heavy glass but the top is just a push-fit onto a regular bottle top.
The result of that design is that picking it up by the top results in the glass bottle coming away from the ornamental top, with the result (in my case) that it drops into the bathroom sink, cracking it into two.
When I mentioned my accident to my next door neighbours, they said that exactly the same thing had happened to them, so I wonder how many bathroom sinks across the world were destroyed by falling bottles of aftershave!

*Sigh* Imagine being in the shower (you, tony, not me). You reach for the shampoo on the shelf. And it slips straight through your fingers because of the slippy texture of the plastic and the way it tapers off to a point. So you go to pick it up. And it slips out of your hand again. And again. And again.
When my lady cat was at the vet earlier this year she was a 'little upset'.
The vet went to get a cat muzzle for her. To put the muzzle on the vet had to get close enough to put the muzzle over my little princess's face and then close a clasp under her chin. To get within two feet of her with out injury would have been impossible. A truly useless object.
The vet and nurse were female, my pal and I are female - so we decided that such a useless device had to have been designed by a male.
