Tesco lightweight cat litter
8 Answers
Does anybody else use Tesco lightweight cat litter?
I usually do an on-line order with Tesco and get the heavy stuff (like the cat litter) delivered. However there is none of this particular cat litter displayed on the website. I went into my local Metro and there was none there either. There was also no assistant around to help.
Why would Tesco do this to me? Cats can be funny about the cat litter that they use, the last thing that I want to do is change over to something else only for the lightweight to make a reappearance.
If no other cat slaves know the answer to this terrible dilemma I may get in touch with Tesco.
It is about ten past six in the friggin' morning - the feline terrors were hungry and I was forcibly extracted from my bed.

Dustypuss - they are indoor cats. The nearest garden is quite far off as we live in the city centre. That would have been a great solution though! ;-)
redhelen - the cat litter is in my favourites but says that it is not in stock. I went into the Metro today and they did have a couple of bags so I got one. I tried to find an assistant to help me but none were around. I tried to ask the lady on the till for help - but it was too early in the morning and I couldn't quite articulate my query - even I didn't understand what I was saying.
Jenna - there was a Tesco basic cat litter which MIGHT be the same stuff downgraded to their basic range. It was half the price of the normal stuff. I was tempted - but will they use the cheap stuff?
Madaboutcats - send the cat litter a few grains at a time! I had the same problem when my last dog died. I had bought a giant bag of special food from the Vet and the little sod went and died on me. I gave it to my pal - not sure if she fed it to the dog or her OH.
I also have tons of food that they are refusing to eat. I refuse to throw it out. Felix is the food of the moment - I have one box of 12 sachets of Felix in the house and about five boxes of Tescos meat - which used to be the favourite food.
I was forced to take early retirement from the Civil Service due to Manic Depression (Bipolar Disorder) and got two cats as they were supposed to be easier to look after than dogs. If I wasn't already insane they would have driven me mad by now. Just as well I love them. I have a voluntary job in a local Oxfam book shop and tomorrow I will be working most of the day - they will be sitting at the door when I get home and will both give me an earbashing about leaving them all alone with nothing to eat. Bah!

Hiya, wolf!! How are the monsters? My lot are still as crazy as ever. At the moment, Cleo is trying to get out the (locked) cat flap & K. Jnr's just thrown a cushion at her (she's a complete pain - she should know it's too late & too dark for pusses to go out.) Anyway, my lot like the "I Love MY Cat" wood pellets, they work out really cheap as well, 'cos you only need a little bit, unlike the other stuff.
Little Mischa is lovely - charging about all over the place on her 3 legs and even faster than the rest of them!! Love to Frankie & Merlin, K xxx
