For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Change your Windows settings. Go to Control Panel > Regional and Language options. Select UK for all tabs, and make sure the currency setting is correct.
Then go to the keyboard option and make sure you have a UK keyboard selected. If it's not available you can add it, but you will need your operating system CDs to do this.
The double quotes and hash key are in reverse positions when you swap UK/US keyboards but otherwise most things will work OK.
