London Olympia

as you all probably know Earls Court no longer holds shows/exhibitions as it is going to become luxury flats and now the old Olympia is once more hosting these shows. Yesterday I went with my pal to the Good Food Eat Well show and it seems that there was a conspiracy against us getting there by London Transport weekend work in progress. What should have been a one bus one underground journey end up 3 buses and 3 trains, we felt like pioneers crossing the prairie not two Londoners out for the day ! and to add insult to injury the replacement bus from Earls Court station to Olympia terminated a route march away from the actual venue.
Our tickets were for Sunday only, but next time we wont be going as though we took a different route back it wasn't any better and took twice as long as getting there !

Bad enough for you Dee sa, imagine what it would have been like by somebody from out of town who didn't know their way around. What a pain!

Yesterday was not a good day in London. Hammersmith gyratory snarled up for many hours due to a crane. Walked from Charing Cross Hospital to Hammersmith station as the traffic going nowhere for several hours.

grasscarp that's some distance of a walk ! when I goy home I got the foot spa out and used for the first time in years !
