Just tried to access a programme on BBC iplayer and got a pop up informing me that the law has changed and you now need a licence to view catch up.
1) How would they know if you were viewing?
2) If tv licencing were to pay a visit to your home, would they have a right to take your laptop to analyse if you had been viewing iplayer?
Zac //Going back to the OP, it's clear Nailit, that you're looking for ways to avoid paying the license fee//
Not really Zac, just curious as to how the BBC would police such a thing as viewing iplayer without a licence.
As regards how others view me , I really couldnt give a monkeys.
//If I was in that position I would seek to earn my food in any way possible.//
Example?
I was homeless, dirty, smelly and sleeping on a multi story (and just released from jail) I wasnt exactly employable.
// I would not steal tho.//
Think you'll find that you would.
Weve spoken about ex convicts before nailit. Remember the heroin addict, boy racer/burglar who spent most of youth in jail & is now clean, works for our council at the tip. He has a council flat, gf. All with help from prisoner repatriation.
Sorry nailit, I don't believe you. If you weren't looking for a way round it, you wouldn't have posted the question. Your previous question on the license fee also give you away.
You might not care what people think about you, but you should realise your attitude towards the law will colour people's responses.
