Can anyone tell me is it worth getting Freesat. when I already have Freeview ? Only watch T.V. in the evening and not bothered about Sport or Films. Thanks.

I have experience of both & if I was you I`d go for freeview. Freesat has a lot more channels to choose from though , maybe too many. I found thay by the time I`d scrolled through the guide I had forgotten which channel I`d seen a certain programme on. I you wanted to record any programmes you can get freeview that does this.

I have no experience of freesat even though I've checked it on the net on occassion. I suspect if you get a good freeview signal any extra channels (probably full of more boring repeats) would not be worth the cost and hassle of putting it in. Different if you already had a sat aerial installed, or no freeview box.

Stay with Freeview.

I get my TV via an old Sky box and any additional channels that I get aren't that great so you are not missing out on much. Quite a few music channels though if that is more your thing.
I could be wrong here, but I seem to think there are some channels that you get on freeview that you can't get on freesat.
