Corrie - Carla's Personality Change

I know the storyline is to pave the way for Alison King's departure but are we really expected to believe Carla would roll over like a puppy to Tracey like she is?

The old Carla would have wiped the floor with her.

Wish the writers wouldn't change characters to suit the storyline, storylines should be written to suit the characters.

Agree, Carla is one of the strongest characters, a business woman and feisty as well, come clean and tell the truth after all the all have history!!

Is Nick leaving too? He is a terrible actor, every scene has him with his arms folded, even when he is just walking along.

I just don't get why Carla didn't call her bluff and completely deny it if Tracey told Nick. Rob would deny it too as he has to work with Nick. Such a frustrating storyline

If you want that sort of sophistication you'll need to look beyond the soaps I'm afraid.

I've not heard anything about Nick leaving so maybe it all goes spectacularly wrong in typical soap style!

Old Carla would have just told Tracey where to get off and told Robert She was blackmailing her.

I agree and am annoyed at the way Carla is behaving with Tracy. She shoud smack her one and I still cannot understand why Robert has not been told by either of them.

I'm sure it'll all go wrong. Tracy won't get the Bistro, she'll lose Rob and Leanne will keep her job.

It's really annoying me sillie, she's just giving in to the vile Tracy's every demand ! I think she should take the bull between the horns and tell Nick about her and Robert. I wonder what will actually happen to make her leave .....

Every time I see her, I can see her (gorgeous!) lips moving, and I am sure she is talking, but I can never hear above the rushing noise in my ears, and then everything goes black, and I wake up on the floor having dribbled down my jumper and the present Mrs Hughes is shouting at me again!!!

It's just acting - she is playing a role.

I have seen her in other things, and her voice is far softer and more gentle ... sigh .... (sound of door quietly closing and footsteps fading away ..).
