Noel just made a big thing about the 22 players not knowing shose show it is, rubbish, they all get a show and their families are brought into the audience, they know at least 2 weeks before and the families are told after a few days of recording. Does he think we don't know how fake tele is?
they probably record more than 1 on the same day, thus being able to say you dont know who's show it is ... if 5 are recorded in one day, it might be that you dont know who is coming up next out of those 5
Did the girl who won tonight have a particularly poignant story - I missed the beginning and Noel seemed quite touched by her winning. (sorry to pinch your thread dot).
I am sure this show is rigged to a certain degree.
Whenever the programme goes out at weekends or bank holidays, you can be certain the 'randomly selected' player will have one of the bigger prizes in their box.
This is so Channel 4 can cash in on the bigger TV audience and also the advertising revenue.
yes silverdaler, at the end where the banker gave her the opportunity to switch boxes she said that her dad was the most important person in her life and that was his birthday so she was sticking with it and every time she opened a box she would kiss a ring on her finger. Noel explained at the end that was her dead mothers wedding ring. Made me blub. :-(
Yeah, he also said in an interview that they had no monitors in the studio. How come the person in "the chair" knows what is in their box at the end before they actually see inside it? Naughty Noel - we all know people can see themselves on monitors when they are in a TV studio!
any monitors will be pointing at the crew, not the contestants.
they probably tell 5 contestants they may be picked that week, as you can't expect family and friends to come to the studio every week for 22 weeks or whatever the turnaround for recording is.
