there's a testcard on the bbc hd channel. Him indoors says it's the just the same as the old one. I think it's a different girl and a different clown. I don't remember him having legs!

The original "girl (Carole Hersee) & clown" Test Card was first used in 1967.

An early widescreen Test Card used the same centre image, however the current ones (since 1999) include a rescan from the original photgraph showing much more of the picture.
