For anyone who's interested, Spielberg & Hanks have just completed another series called 'The Pacific'. It's about the marines in WWII.

Lets hope a TV company snaps it up!

Sky Movies have snapped up the rights and will air the 10 part mini series in the UK, Spring 2010 at the same time as it airs in the U.S...........It will air also in full HD.

Thanks yogi - guess I'll have to wait until it comes out on DVD unfortunately, as I don't have Sky. It really annoys me that Sky snap up all the best series i.e. Lost, Prison Break, House, 24.

Although I'm a female, I thought Band of Brothers was absolutely fantastic!

imho band of brothers was the best series ever made. i just hope that this can live up to the very high standards.
