i no this probably the best topic to put this question into but i dont know were else to put it, anyway would appreciate your help if posible. i need to drill in a very tight space, i cant get the drill in as it wont fit. has anybody got any ideas?

You can get right-angled drills for this - they can be a bit pricey but you can often hire them.

If what you want to drill is not too heavy-weight then there are right angle chucks around but I broke one quite quickly so you might want to think of them as semi-disposable.

http://www.tool-shop.co.uk/acatalog/Dremel.html is the place to look.  I can recommend the dremmel as a tool, no problem, it even has a right-angle chuck (Dremmel 575) attachment!
