Dogs Barking - 24 Of The *** Things
41 Answers
Am I being unreasonable? I moved into my new property in Feb. When I viewed it in December it was all peace and quiet. It transpired within days of moving in that the people across the lane have dogs. 24 dogs to be precise.
Slowly these damn dogs have got up my nose. To the extent that today (which proved to be a difficult day work wise and I couldnt work in the house due to the fact that my living room ceiling nearly collapsed so I had to work in the conservatory) I have very nearly lost it. These *** dogs started barking at about 3pm. Since then it has been constant, yap yap fecking yap yap yap. I suspect the owners are not there and so in my experience these damn things will bark all *** night. Mainly I try and screen it out. But it has reached crisis point. I LOVE my new home for the sanctity and sanity it provides. Part of me thinks "you moved to the country, you should put up with it", but just lately these fecking dogs have yapped constantly. Part of me thinks "For Funks Sake, shut those damn hounds up". Someone cheer me up before I do something that the dogs might regret (and I get it is not the dogs' fault).

What do you expect if you insist in leaving in six finger, mono-brow land?

If I was moving to a new area I would do a bit of research B.M. Regards Unreasonable, no I don't think you are unreasonable, I have something on the same lines here but not 24 dogs, I would log the amount of dogs yapping over a period of a month, have a word with the owners & state if this carry's on you will have to contact your local council.
They are ostensibly breeders and show at Crufts. I have never ever seen them walk a single dog and it appears they are kenneled the whole time. I have made a report to the RSPCA. At present this one dog has been barking since 3pm. It will bark all damn night. In exasperation I yelled "will you shut that fecking dog up". But around 10pm (just after dusk) the whole lot start. If a fox snuffles in the undergrowth, I go outside for a last check before bed, hedgehog farts 3 miles away, For Funks Sake, the lot go off. And they dont stop for HOURS.
I am desperately trying NOT to go round there because atm I am going to be vaguely unpleasant and I have to live next door to these muppets.
