First of all , as regards last night and the words spoken - I see you refer to them as a 'Blazing row' I certainly did not see it that way. I guess as the OP I see the thread as 'my baby' that is likely wrong of me, I should just post and leave all to it - so for that and to anyone else I have angered I am sorry. I would also like to state that I have NO favourites at all on here.
Next - having read all of your postings over the past day or so, I fervently beg that you seek all the help you can, practically, pastorally and physically. Believe me I have been in the dark dark place too and it is hateful - but when all is said and done, only you can reach out and get the help you need. I know when I finally accepted my clinical depression was a reality and something could be done, it was actually a relief.
AB has been a lifeline to me along the way- more than that in fact, I have a chance of a whole new chapter in my life., I have reached out many times and been helped, people do understand and try , but they need some cooperation from those asking or crying for help. I hate to think of anyone in that lonely place, so try to promise you will seek some help from outside the home - admit that coping is too much at the moment.there is no shame in saying 'Help me'. A brave face is well and good but not while you are suffering inside.

last few days especially we have had some serious family worries and the
friendship and laughter on here has helped us forget our problems for a while.
My thoughts and prayers go to anyone who is feeling lonely or depressed or
feels weighed down by life's problems. Come on here and have a friendly chat
or help with a puzzle or whatever. xxxxxxx.

Something I always remember. You cannot let the dark out but you can always let the light in. And that is the solution to so many things. I feel for everyone suffering with stress and depression. Very few people in this world have never been there at some time in their lives and it can last a few hours or many years.
Please Sir Alec, (and others) be open to those who can help and bring light back into your lives.

Anne of course you are correct, but in the same way that the lady told everyone on here all about her life and troubles over many hours, I felt to pop a thread up for her to read was only right. There is zero compulsion for her to reply.
It is not as though I/we are revealing anything said to us in private.I pray all is well that is all.

I support your views too, mamya, and we are there if A wants to contact us and share things/ask for some advice - particularly as she did "unload" a little. It's very much up to her.
Nice to see AB being good at what it does well. More important than any gold medal! Ditto Tink's comment - she is welcome to contact me on my temp e-mail, which at the moment, would you believe it, is [email protected]

First of all, I'd like to say a big thank you to Mamya and everybody else on this thread for all your kind wishes. Especially headwreck, who also talked to me on the dysmorphis thread.
I have been in contact with Paul Gill, who first diagnosed me with Bipolar disorder and have been lucky to get an appointment with him for a month's time. He used to be a basic psychiatrist, but is now a 'big noise' in that department. I am over the peak of the depression, but am still feeling very fragile. Paul told me that my brain has been sensitized by the constant bullying throughout my life. Thus, I can take the slightest criticism to heart.
I also thank all the people, too many to mention, on the Good Morning thread. Your comments have not been ignored, but as Jeza says about Mic, my Dad would not like strangers in the house looking after him.
I just hope that I will not be forced onto Lithium again as I know it helps a lot of people, but all it ever did for me was rob me of my sense of humour. Also anti-depressants which give me thumping headaches and nausea.
This is the worst case of depression I've had in 6 months and came like a bolt from the blue. Usually I get a bit of a warning, when I become a bit paranoid and don't trust people, but there was very little of that this time.
I have taken great solace from watching Sir Alec in several Ealing comedies and other such films. It has been a great comfort.
Anyway, I won't ramble on any longer as I know that other people's problems can become a bore!
Many thanks again to all who expressed concern. I never meant to hurt anyone. I hope you all believe that.
