Child poverty is +50%
Food bank use is +1000 %
Homelessness is +170 %
NHS waiting lists are +70%
Police numbers are -20%
Crime is +30%
Local gov funding is -50%
Public sector pay is -15%.

I'll wait for people to say "Yeah but at least Boris isn't a terrorist sympathiser" or something negative about Tony Blair.

Togo - "Then why should anyone read a link provided by you?"

Because mine is from the Labour party's website rather than The Sun, which is a notorious media outlet.

If you want info on a manifesto, trust me the best place to see a party's manifesto is on their website. Not The Sun.
Any comment on my post pointing out Corbyn's family background, TD?
//Boris implied it [the NHS]needed an extra 350 million a week//

No he didn't. He didn't say how much the NHS needs - and very wise too because its 'needs' are endless. A bottomless pit is the only thing that would cure it.
I reckon Labour's website could justifiably be considered a 'notorious media outlet'.

Zacs-Master, I have.

This thread is highlighting failings from the Conservative party. I understand that discussion turned onto Boris vs. Jeremy (even though Boris has only been PM for 6 months, and I am talking about the past nine years) but I personally don't wish to discuss Jeremy Corbyn's personal background

However, we only need to look at their early political careers and voting history, to see who is the more credible politician when it comes to equality and the majority.
Was the manifesto printed by the Sun different to the one printed by the other sites? You will eventually learn that the "plonk a dead cat" on the table tactic is finished as a ploy to fool the electorate. Just like Cob's childish attempt to use the NHS yesterday is being laughed out of the building by even the most biased left wing MSM sources, so all the gloom and doom lies being conjured up on the twisted wish list of the left wing half wits are now being recognised on sight for what they really are. Garbage.
What exactly is this 'equality' you're after, spath?

NHS staff are telling people, even begging them not to vote Conservative because the NHS will not last another 5 years under the Tories. But you have people who spend the majority of their days on AnswerBank who apparently know better than those active in the field.

Wait until the NHS is slowly privatised, and see if you'll be happy to ring an ambulance, or give birth when you could potentially be footed a bill of 10K.

Togo - "Was the manifesto printed by the Sun different to the one printed by the other sites? "

I don't know, because as I have said on more than one occasion now, I don't get any information from The Sun.

You do you, though. If that's what you like to read.
I don't know any NHS staff who are saying that. I wonder why that doctor on the LibDem's party political broadcast isn't working with Labour instead?
TD your own thread developed (as threads ALWAYS do) into, some would say an inevitable, discussion about the party leaders. You made specific reference to Corbyn at 12:34, and then went on the perpetuate the discussion about the leaders in following posts specifically mentioning him again at 12:42. So it’s a bit disingenuous to say you don’t want to discuss his personal background, especially when you’ve made reference to Johnson’s.
How do you know what's in the Sun if you don't read it, devil? I read all the newspapers. Best way to make a balanced judgement I find.
//Mr Corbyn takes pride in the fact that he rides trains, talks to the homeless etc.. These are qualities of a good leader.//

I can see how Corbyn sucks in the mugs. A good leader rides in trains my aunt fanny.
You obviously missed the stage managed carp when the overgrown schoolboy sat petulantly on the floor with his sycophantic creeps to try and highlight overcrowding and lack of carriages. He looked like he was staging a sit-in. The rest of the 'ordinary joes' looked on incredulously, from their seats, as this impersonation of Wurzel Gummidge stared intently into the handy camermen's lenses. There were plenty of vacant seats in the carriage and Corbyn and his goons walked past them to stage this farce. You believe this idiot is genuine?. One big sham!!.
"Wait until the NHS is slowly privatised, and see if you'll be happy to ring an ambulance, or give birth when you could potentially be footed a bill of 10K."

Whatever you Politics, there will ALWAYS be an NHS.......cracks have been pasted over it since i worked in the NHS in 1959.......nearly 60 years ago. It is and has always been a political pawn.......
is the NHS a bottomless pit??
//How do you know what's in the Sun if you don't read it, devil?//

That isn't the nub of the issue though Naomi. Like all the left wing bigots he expects the rest of us to be mindful of his warped sensibilities and personal preferences but at the same time to swallow hook line and sinker any biased drivel or propaganda that he decides that we must, like him, avidly devour. I can think of one or two despots from history who thought like that. Beware..... every marxist has a dictator as its kernel.
//HS staff are telling people, even begging them not to vote Conservative because the NHS will not last another 5 years under the Tories. But you have people who spend the majority of their days on AnswerBank who apparently know better than those active in the field//
Peace Lily
Do you make it up as you go along?
My wife and the friends she trained with have all completed over 40 years nursing with the NHS. My wife retired about 3 years ago.About 3 of her set are due to retire. None of them have ever voted any other than the tories and believe me.,unfortunately ,we have pretty lively political discussions around the dinner table :-(
