i cant see camelot getting the trip joe...bonfire has won well at 1m 2 furlongs and the going will be right...but then again this is horse racing so who knows??lol...im having a a good wager [well you never know]...
Let's hope for a genuinely run mile and a half. The Oaks today was won by a filly that should get a mile and a half, true enough, but the race was so slowly run at the start that there was a distinct feeling that there were other strong contenders at the trip who were disadvantaged.
Ah well, so much for the hopes ! Not convinced that Camelot is particularly good. He did what was necessary but the rest of the field was pretty ordinary. He cost 525, 000 gns as a yearling, so he's repaid with a bit left over for training fees, though !
