Sometimes I agree mojo ... but most of the time I'm glad that I do have a license, so that I have the best TV and Radio in the world & can watch live TV without peering over my shoulder to see who's watching me.

I honestly don't watch live Dave. I rarely watch at all if I'm honest. The radio is free to all. I like the radio in the car but to be honest, I rather like the peace.

The Twitter thing is an interesting development.
How long before they go after sites like this? It's no wonder ED takes everything down when a name is mentioned. I'd do exactly the same.

He could have got a lot more but I heard/read he was aware it was going to come from the licence payers pockets so just wanted a recognition that the beeb were to blame.

how else, 237SJ? Calling someone a child abuser is a big thing. Saying "Oops, sorry" doesn't really seem to fit the bill.

That said, the BBC didn't name him.
