Framing the question to suggest that any dissent or contrasting point of view from your own opinion of the EU is unpatriotic is risible.

Yeah yeah yeah - WWII - Nazis at the gate
Doesn't the fact that you have to hark back to something that happened 70 years ago tell us something Baz?
Your argument is predicated or a world where aircraft were driven by propellers and photography came via a brownie camera, where the height of technology was bakerlite and a crystal radio.
A world before you were born I'd say!
Who exactly do you suppose is set to invade us?
in what scenario? - go on paint us a picture
A resurgent Germany with Chancellor Merkel on ton of a Panzer?
Maybe President Hollande dropping French paratroopers!
Truth is you have a particular view of Britain and when you come into contact with people that don't share that view you can't stand it!
You scream and shout and call people names like a 5 year old told he can't take home a playgroup toy.
You lay claim to the notion of Britishness as some unchanging fixed set of values.
But Britishness doesn't belong to you
You don't get to decide what it is
It belongs to all of us and sorry but it changes - it's not stuck in some Churchillian fantasy but changes as we do.
So like the playgroup toy - you're just going to have to learn to play nicely and share

amazing JTP that you are quite happy to use the Nazi ploy when it suits, telling us that we are behaving badly in not accepting more people, that it wasn't very spirited, and that we would have sent those immigrants during the war years off to Belsen, Auschwitz, what a charmer.
Is it not without merit that we can't keep on like this, that this country is pretty nigh in the doldrums, though the government has said that the economy is on the up, not so much so in the grand scheme of things.
more people puts pressure on all our services like that or not.
no job, don't come.

@jtp
hit a nerve have i !!
you can paint it any way you damn well like, you can twist it and distort it any damn way you like but.....there one inescapeable fact and that is the plan and the end results are same...the takeover and destruction of this nation
just becasue the methods being used are differnt, ie lies and subterfuge, deciept etc etc as opposed to guns and bombs this time round, makes no difference the end result is the same and you know it, the submission of this country leading to total control and domination in every way there is.
and us all kissing the rses of the corrupt scum in brussells who are so deep in the trough they only come up for air to see how theyre plans are going

"You scream and shout and call people names like a 5 year old told he can't take home a playgroup toy. " - yes like Phsycotic! For daring not to want us merged into a tyrannical superstate! Take a step back jake, you are guilty of the things you accuse others of.
No one is talking about invasion in the conventional sense, this is being done by stealth from faceless beauracrats, legislating their idea for our straitjacket, quietly, unrelenting in the background. Like so many Chamberlainstas of the past you will finally see the danger too late and then demand us extremists save you while you sip latte in your Islington coffee shops wondering how you can show ingratitude that your cosy safe little lives, have, as usual, been saved by those you hate the most.

they have to get tougher, no job, home, no rights to be here. It was totally different years ago with regards to immigration, long before the welfare state can provide, and indeed before we were tied to a ball and chain that is the EU,
i don't have some utopian idea of Britain, however what i do have is a good memory, one that rarely fails me, and never have i seen changes that we have witnessed in the last number of years, many most definitely not for the better. Some have been, but they had nothing to do with being part of some European superstate.
