I am amused by the insight quoted at the link that removing wooden pews for comfy seats was likely to attract more people.
I wonder what sort of indepth survey was needed to arrive at that sensational conclusion :-)

The Church in question wants to remove the hard, uncomfortable pews and replace them with more comfortable seating.
This will facilitate interfaith services, not Muslim only events.

However, this Church does allow Muslim only worship when it's not being used for Christian services
