Can't supply a link but Jacob R-M is smashing it on Jeremy Vile at the moment ( TV channel 5). He's a prime example of how pure genius and intelligence can make any journalist look like a fool. He is wiping the floor with the whole panel who keep changing the subject of debate to try and trap him.

My orangery is draughty actually, and you won't hear me moaning about privilege actually since I'm quite privileged myself, and not in the habit of shooting myself in the foot by moaning about my own good fortune, however I do understand privilege, and JRM is privileged. and i would do anything to be in my draughty orangery at the moment actually because Georgia is sweaty, humid and rankly hot at this time of year and our aircon is on the fritz :/

Well if you're going to decry and mock people who change for the better and admit their mistakes and bad behaviour then that's your funeral. You can't time travel, you can't go back and not do something, you can only realise it was wrong and publicly apologise and hopefully act as a role model and prevent other similar young men behaving in the same way. Or would you rather he still behaved like that? Those are the only two choices, personally I admire people who own what they've done and try to make amends but hey, I'm not a Tory :)
