I don't know why people keep fixating on London. This is nationwide.

Not sure increasing Police numbers will have any effect.
Firstly you cant just get anyone off the street to investigate this sort of thing (including University fast track types)
Secondly if you increased Police Farce numbers then most likely they would be put to work on "hate Crime" which seems to be senior plods latest ideological craze.
Build more jails and lock up the perps the good coppers on the ground catch for longer periods is the answer and sack all soft touch judges and Magistrates.

they could clean up londons murder problem, with hit squads snatch
deport or soylent green the gang members... it would be like a return to there roots and feed a few tribes at the same time...win win
seriously though nothings going to change, just more statistics and
and ever growing murder rate, unless it starts to hurt the rich in london, you see it really does not matter to the powers that be.

There has always been a wall of silence within the black community
in London.
That is why,in part, the initiative to recruit more ethnics fail to reach targets.
The Met police were very successful in finding the dealers years ago by intelligent use of Sec 66 Metropolitan Police Act. So successful that it wasn't regarded as policing by intelligence but racial targeting by the likes of Bernie Grant and Dianne Abbot.
Incidentally Abbot gave her reason for sending her son to a private school was because she didn't want him caught up in the black youth gangs.
The Government caved in to pressure and withdrew a useful and successful tool for the police in London. Sec 66 MPA.
It is with great irony hat those who smugly believed they had got one over the police are now bleating when their sons and daughters. are butchered in the streets and saying the police aren't doing enough.
If no information is forthcoming then no arrests can be made.
I do not dispute that stabbings/shootings occur in the provinces but not,I would suggest, on the scale it happens almost daily in London.
Simple reason is that is where the hub of drug distribution lies and where the drug lords control their county lines. They stay at home protecting their empires from rivals and send kids out to the shires to pedal their wares. It will no doubt get worse in the provinces.

er I think the point is - that you DON'T tell people that you have informed. Altho I admit that by-standers may be able to tell
Neighbour's bruvva was a drug mule around the city
and his mum ( yeah muvva ) turned out to be a police informer !
bit of short circuiting going on there we thought ...

Yes I am sure you are quite right. They all probably got so dejected at having their hands tied and seeing their mates hacked to death they probably emptied their lockers and said this ain't worth the bovva. Shove your job. I'm off to work in Sainsburys.
