It's no secret, indeed, it's something that President Trump always shouts out as a positive character asset, that he enjoys being a stupid narrow minded bigot in matters of art and culture.

Complaining that there are enough 'problems with South Korea over trade ...' rather speaks to his inability to understand that countries are not just limited to concepts he can either make money from, or fight with.

Stupidity and ignorance are not assets, and they are nothing to brag about.

The President does himself no favours by boasting about being an uncultured idiot - even though he is - better to keep that major aspect of his personality quiet.

Unless of course it appeals to his voting base …

In a throwaway line, Trump mocked Brad Pitt, and noted that the worst attended and watched Oscars ever had awarded Best Film to a South Korean film. Quote..

“By the way how bad were the Academy Awards this year, did you see it?” he asked.
Trump expressed surprise that the Oscars gave the Best Picture award to Parasite, a South Korean film.
“What the hell was that all about?” he asked. “We got enough problems with South Korea with trade, on top of it they give them the best movie of the year? Was it good? I don’t know.”
Trump said he would rather return to films like Gone with the Wind or Sunset Boulevard.
“I thought it was best foreign film right?” he asked, recalling Parasite being announced from the stage. “Did this ever happen before?”
Then you have Brad Pitt, I was never a big fan of his, he got up, said a little wise guy statement,”

That was it......Then the luvvies all go into collective meltdown whilst claiming intellectual superiority and human empathy. You know the ones whose kids are all on drugs and undergoing therapy, and look like they have just claimed asylum whilst Trump;s kids are all well mannered and smartly turned out. The voting public notices things like that you know.
