When even the Times and the Telegraph turn on Johnson and just cabinet, it must be obvious that those who voted for him were living in twonkland.

It all Depends on what Boris is holding , between the Bricks.
I don’t understand what bricks is all about.

Are you implying your Prime Minister is as thick as a brick ?
That’s quite embarrassing really. It serves to confirm what most of us knew ….that the party under the old leader was unelectable. I doubt much will change though. The party is still the party - regardless of leader.
Tora's whistling in the dark again.

Just admit to the current shambles before turning your intellect to the opposition and please, please refrain from crowbarring the former leader into any reply.
^^ It was too much to ask. ^^

Hardly fair, douglas, when the new slogan in effect refers to the old leader.
10.54 He is just a Brick
Gulliver, where I come from if someone is referred to as 'a brick' it means they're strong and dependable. You praising Boris? Whatever next?! ;o)

douglas: "Just admit to the current shambles before turning your intellect to the opposition and please, please refrain from crowbarring the former leader into any reply. " gladly, it has bee a shambles but these are difficult times, I doubt any inhabitant of no 10 would have done any better or any different. The people know that, we'll still win hands down in 2024 and probably 2029. Real Labour last won an election in 1974, they'll need more than a slogan if they are ever to generate the 4th Labour leader in history to get the keys to no 10. despite all that's happened EC are still predicting a Tory majority if the election were held now: https://www.electoralcalculus.co.uk/homepage.html
Labour and their supporters should wake up and start making themselves electable rather than poking a government navigating an unprecedented crisis. The goal is open, try scoring.
I have just looked up ‘bricking it’ and it is very vulgar.

Not sure this is the right forum for me, I’m outta her.
I take it to be a change of message rather than personnel, naomi, much like New Labour back in the day.
The Chair @ 10.51.
......Is this the Beginning of the End ....... or.......
The end of the Beginning. ?.

aren't labour now a figment of someone's imagination in your one-party state, Douglas?
For the moment, mushroom, but they're trying to address that but it'll take a lot of time and effort to cut through the Brigadoon message that so many have swallowed whole.

Naomi, "where I come from..." You must come from Enid Blyton land. I've never heard "brick" used in real life, only in the Famous Five or the Secret Seven. Happy memories...
That would be a much better slogan for the government to be honest - maybe with “please!” added
