so a lot of animals, possibly to be dog napped. I watched one story on the news recently of a lady who is blind almost had her guide dog stolen, i can't recall how she stopped them, but suffice to say her dog is still part of her life. low as low can get.

There was a case here of a blind student who was beaten by potential thieves. Thankfully they didn't get her dog as she fought them off.

The guide dogs and assistance dogs are picked for their many reasons, they are usually non aggressive dogs. Easier to steal than other breeds.

I'd like to see some scumbag steal an 'undercover' police dog.

Until we punish severely, thefts will become bolder. The thieves face little risk of unpleasant consequences.
