THECORBYLOON //"real Labour winning their first election since 1974." Do you copy and paste that and variants of it?// He prefers to live in the past almost half a century ago than deal with the present. Conveniently skips these events though whilst doing so: October 1974: At the second general election of that year, Labour consolidated its victory over Ted...

I know this was posted yesterday . But I just wanted to remind all the dyed in the wool Tories on A/B in case they missed the good news.
Gully......to save you further posts and I have been a Tory since I was eighteen years old and:

unless, a miracle happens and I don't believe in miracles the Conservatives have NO chance of forming a government with an overhaul majority at the next election.
shoo-in for Keir Starmer
UNLESS corbyn appears and says I will save you all!
And he ( corbo stupid) is carried shoulder high into the Palace of Westminster
AMD piggies fly
It would be a mistake to write the Tories off now.
There is a lot of work to do to get them back on the right track. But there are a lot of good clever people in the Conservatives machine. This is probably a low point, but repairs will happen in the next 20 months.

This is such good new. I know now how all the Brexiteers felt ,when the Crown stamp was returned to pint glasses .
All cons will need hard hats in prep for the next PQT :0)

Indeed there are. Incredulously they keep them on the back benches or ditch them early on in the leadership contest and maintain Continuity Johnson.
Unfathomable.
"Things can only get Better," - interesting that you chose a Thatcherite's favourite song there.
I sense a theme emerging, Tora. :-)
Why do people keep saying things like 'it's a shoe-in for Starmer' when the GE is a world away? Anything can happen.
Paigntonian, the 5CP are getting excited at the prospect of real Labour winning their first election since 1974. They are in the lead at the moment so they think that means you automatically win next time. It's like new race goers. When their horse takes the lead half way through the race they are desperately excited........it rarely wins the race. Yet with all the bluster and N "the Tories are dead" threads a day, not one of them actually believes their own opinion enough to back it with their own money. All rather sad but it does amuse.
....gromit at least realises this.

Where were you both the other day when I wanted to put £50 on Labour getting more seats than the Tories at the GE?
Oh I forgot, the AB Bookie is still in a sulk and won’t talk to me!
Never mind. Lol.
