… and the Kremlin retaliates?
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-65996531

It’s one thing mouthing off about how awful your defence ministry is, but telling the truth about Donetsk, and slaying the myth swallowed by so many even in the west about Ukraine attacking civilians there since 2014?

And now on his Telegram channel tonight he’s claiming that his camp was hit by a missile from the direction of Russia, with “many dead”.
Pondering how to react.
Great news?

Was it ever a coup or was it a special leadership operation?

"How could it be any worse? "

multiple invasions by numerous armed factions
WMDs getting plundered
Use of tactical nukes or biological weapons
collapse in food supply and famine conditions

look at what happened during the first russian civil war when WMDs were far more primitive. it was worse.

//russia is full of people who have no responsibility at all for what has happened to ukraine.//

So is Ukraine - but that doesn't seem to bother you, untitled. You're more concerned about the aggressor.

I’ll leave you in your first world bunker to panic
go on naomi where have i expressed any support at all for russia's invasion of ukraine? be specific.
you know that i am right ichkeria. a civil war in russia might feel nice to imagine but it will not benefit ukraine.
I've not seen you expressing concern for Ukraine here, untitled - only for Russia.
Question Author
It almost certainly would benefit Ukraine.

It would collapse the war of genocide there. It’s collapsing already but Russia is still able to launch terrorist attacks from its own country.
Anyway, civil war? We are talking about a possible army coup.
you can't have been looking very hard then because i have said that i think a civil war in russia will make ukraine's situation worse

for the avoidance of doubt i consider the russian invasion a completely evil and unjustified thing... and have said so before!
i truly hope it pans out as a coup ichkeria... that would be ideal
Hoe could it make it worse?

And a coup led by a man who has outed the truth about Putin’s war will kill that invasion stone dead.
If it happens

“God this has REALLY set AB alight”

Well when you posted that at the time Peter I was tempted to reply: “give it time” ;-)
Once you start such a move, there's no going back.
As the great military strategist Field-Marshal Khando once said; 'You can coup, but you can't uncoup'. :0)
by bringing about a situinto this:

I'm not reading all that, untitled. How would civil war in Russia make it worse for Ukraine?
Khandro, yes, you can.

;-)

Have you just being writing a thesis on the Russian civil war which ended 100 years ago?
Seems like it lol

Looks like Wagner air defences have been engaging Russian government air assets.
At least two attack helicopters and possibly two planes shot down
/Looks like Wagner air defences have been engaging Russian government air assets.

Hope they were playing 'Ride of the Valkyries' when they shot them down.
I was a little worried for Ukraine forces when Putin recently re-introduced Attack Helicopters against Ukraine's offensive.
Question Author
I was playing Ride of the Valkyries earlier (!)

Yes the attack helicopters pose a real threat - based out of occupied Berdyansk, as they can fly low and fire from a distance, but they've lost quite a few of the 20 they had, so that is not a sustainable threat you feel. Ukraine is having to advance without adequate air cover, bit advance they do, albeit slowly for now.
