Bbc Quiz: Week 14
Good evening!
I apologise for the late post; I've been catching up on some sleep!
A refreshed mind, together with some lucky guesses, seems to have helped me towards my score of FIVE out of seven in the senior quiz this week:
https:/
However I could still only manage a pathetic ONE out of five in the junior version:

Your turn!

I'm bumbling along as always. I hope that you're well too.
Well done on beating my aggregate!
Better than me in the junior quiz, anyway, Moorea7! (I was absolutely certain that the answer to the Vikings question couldn't possibly be Ipswich, as I live nearby and I check the local news websites several times each day. So Iwas stunned to find out that it was Ipswich after all!)
Better luck next week, Kwillmott!
Good Evening, Chris!
One of my worst weeks for scores
3/7, 1/5
Perhaps a nap first would have been a good idea! We have a 6 month free trial with Disney+ so I have been watching more TV than usual until the early hours.
We are having a day out at the 'Tugs' Exhibition at the weekend with family and will be meeting up with friends we have not seen for a while, so I'm looking forward to that. Hoping the weather stays nice. Picnic hamper is packed and ready!
Wishing you and your delightful kitties a wonderful week ahead :-)
You're nowhere near the bottom of the table, anyway, Karamia!
I keep telling myself that I ought to watch a bit more telly, as I pay a teener a month for a Now TV Entertainment package but I never seem to make any use of it. (I hardly ever watch the free stuff either!).
Hold onto your hats at the TUGS exhibition! The forecast for Ripley tomorrow is showing winds around 40 mph - and closer to 50 mph on Sunday!

I'm planning on getting out and about over the weekend too, 'activating' some sites for the English Castles Awards and/or the English Lighthouses Awards. (They're awards for radio amateurs who make contacts with stations located within 1 km of certain castles or lighthouses. We 'activators' have to drive to those locations and then see who'll respond to our calls).
The cats and I hope that you'll be able to enjoy your weekend (despite the wind!) and that you'll have a good week ahead of you.
Hi, Haras2!
'Pass' marks, anyway, I think!
I can't remember whether or not my lot have had Whiskas Temptations. (They've had so many different types of treats!). They're currently going mad for Felix Crispies though. I stocked up in Morrisons with one of these

and one of these this afternoon:

I hope that you and Shady will have a lovely week!
