I see the unions are flexing their muscles at the TUC etc, lot's of fighting talk! Obviously anything to do with cuts angers the loony left. Are we in for another Tory/Unions punch up? I'm considering comming out of retirement!

These men have pride Welshy, it gets to me when I hear of the 'loony left' these blokes just wanted to earn a living, they were proud men, just like the Welsh miners and the Nottingham coalfields...
sorry about the rant!
I know Bobbi! so very sad for them! Not their fault, but they are now vilified for not having work, but there is not work there for them!...................
Mrt T may have been a iron lady Welsh but she separated mining communities...forever!
What do the 'Right' say about this?
They don't care either Bobbi! we are in the south of Wales. forgotten about area of the UK, I live on the coast away fromthe |Valleys so it's ok here, but in the Valleys it's a hard life for them!..............got to go to bed now Bobbi! was going ages ago!...............Goodnight, Nos Dda x
G'nite Welshy, been good x
In fact the whole of British Industry is fast disappearing, even our farmers have to sell out
I know ayg, but when you see and hear the right wingers...makes my blood boil, they should try living in an area where dear Mrs T butchered...
Thatcher described the striking miners as 'The enemy within.' As though they were a 5th Column of subversives. All they were, really, were men fighting to save their jobs and their communities.
thank you Sandy, how right you are, proud men who she broke
Even the Tories - rarely the brightest of buttons in the box - finally grasped that Thatcher had to go, so out of the window she went, yet we still have some of them around singing her praises. Madness!
I didn't have time for NOO Labour quizmaster and quite fancied a shared Parliament, I am not daft enough to know that it is pay back time now due to the heavy borrowing of Gord and Co!
But the Thatcherite years were a nightmare for certain areas namely the coal fields and heavy industry, her ideals lay in the Filofax yuppies who are now probably working in the banking and finance institutes, who helped us all into recession!

Oh yes Bobbi

Heavy borrowing of Gord and Co

remind me what they wasted that money on

Duck ponds and moats?

Oh No it was buuying up the banks that Cameron's chums nearly ruined so that there wouldn't be another depression.

As Im sure Geezer - er sorry MrsT today isn't it will tell you - as I think he works for a bank
yes jake I know and totally agree with you, whatever the reasons now, we are in massive debt which has to be paid back, I just hope DCs policies are nothing like his heroines? but I fear the worst I'm afraid
.///.ps, are you AOG trying to be ironic ? If so, all praise to you.///

I seem to be playing on Answerprancer's mind he seems that he can't post without bringing me into the argument, even though I haven't been involved until now..

The "right wingers" you moan about are imune from the hardship because they get off their ar5ses and get another job, move if necessary rather than sit around mourning the loss of uneconomical jobs like the lefties who think the world owes them a living. That's why "righties" seem obllivious, they can't understand the mentality.
It's Geezer AnswerPrancer MrsT popped back up the moment he got banned the other week starting a thread called "What happened to Geezer" and both have used the rather distictinctive ironic expression "the religion of peace" to describe Islam.

Not the most brilliant desguise

But maybe he just has a virtual cross dressing thing going on today

I'll take this diversionary stuff as an indication that you agree with my last post then jake. So now I'm answerprancer, aog, Geezer, any advance on those!
oh dear, jake, do you think this suggest Geezer knows deep in his heart he isn't rightwing enough? The yoghurt is entering his soul.
Mrs T,

so you firmly believe there are plenty of jobs to go around if the ones who lost theirs moved ?
So why are greedy firms outsourcing to India and the like?
Where are these well paid jobs the proud miners, ship builders, steel workers can have?
