Sunday. All calm out this morning. No rain or frost. There will be later though!

Nit and sunny on the canal yesterday, but the wind had a bite! Quite a few people about. We took £65.65, an improvement on last week. A long way off the record though.

Catching up at home today.

Have a happy day everyone.

Hey old mate, how's things?

Just plodding around myself, got a few minor tasks accomplished, nothing too strenuous ;-)

Been a nice day here, sunny and breezy, could be a short storm later though.
Can't complain.

Have a couple of reports due today for the "Lords and Masters", better get them done or they may decide not to pay me next month ;-)

Afternoon oz. I'm not planning too much today, draw some new patterns in the dust maybe.

I'm going to have the haggis minty sent me today.
Question Author
I'm fine, by the way! :o}
That would have to be the indoor dust, it'd be mud pies outdoors ;-)

Never had the chance to try Haggis myself, sounds interesting, must do so one day.

Watched a clip someone posted on here on how it's made, came to the conclusion it would get the arteries screaming for mercy if it was eaten in large amounts.
Question Author
:o} Yup. A good one is worth having, a not so good one ain't. I'm assured the one I have is considered the best of the commercial ones. It's a long time since I've had it. I think it was Burns night in the mess of 1st Battalion Scots Guards in Malaya. 1966!
I know some bad "Burns" jokes ;-)
Shan't repeat them.

1966, I would have been enjoying, or hating, my first year of school.
Question Author
I know a few burns jokes that will remain where they belong. They weren't even that funny to begin with. My brother was stationed in Singapore at the same time, so we met up often.

I liked Malaysia. Nice climate, lovely people, fascinating wild life...including some of the human variety!

I won't go back. It's not the country I knew.
So how do you prepare Haggis for the table, what do you serve with it?
Guessing "neeps" or "tatties" would be one.
Does it need a sauce?
Question Author
Doesn't need a sauce mate. Neeps and tatties are the tradition. Which I have. I'll use a couple of mushrooms too.
Question Author
You could, of course, make a whisky sauce to go with it.
Morning WBM and Ozzy. :-)

My daughter is going back to Ireland today :-(
Now your talking ;-).

Just going to stick my head into the kitchen, see if someone has taken the dinner reins or I have to.

Hopefully I'll be eating someone elses cooking today.
Question Author
Morning ummmm xxx A sad day then. At least, she is going to a lovely country, not far way. :o}
Question Author
That'll make a change oz! :o}
G'day Ummmm.

Wish my future ex daughter in law would do something like that ;-/

But I'm sure the Irish would post her back, receiver pays ;-)
Question Author
Like that is it oz! Send her on a two week holiday to Syria.
She lives in a beautiful place (Belmullet, Mayo)

She's so much fun though.
The Syrians would send her back, freight collect ;-)
Question Author
It is a beautiful place ummmm. She's a lucky lass. :o}

I doubt they would send her back oz. She'd never be the same again though, married to an arab!
I've just had an armchair tour of "Mouth of the Mullet" Ummmm.

It certainly appears to be a beautiful place.
Apart from the fact it never warms up and always rains ;-)
