Why Didn’t She Yell?
Firstly I’m NOT doubting that the girl was subject to an unwarranted and unasked for sexual assault…
I’m wondering why she didn’t tell in a crowded seafront?
My thoughts are that many young women are not empowered enough to ask (ie yell!( for help in such a scenario.
Ergo that the same boy who assaulted her felt confident enough to approach her afterwards (ie he likely thinks he’s done no wrong)
It’s an indictment on society and not on the victim.

She's only 15 and was probably scared witless. The shock and terror she most likely felt would have caused her to 'freeze'. We all think we'd do this or that, but it's not the same when it is actually happening.

We get a lot of people from Birmingham and London here.
Clearly you have never been to Bournemouth seafront where this happened or you would have realised screaming and yelling is continual. Even if heard it is doubtful anyone would have thought it anything but play.
I wouldn't put any money on plod finding this one. To be fair to them they are on a hiding to nothing as I doubt is friends and family will dob him in, quite the opposite I suspect. And probably isnt from Birmingham either.

A good point uoungmafbog. This is quite a problem IMHO. Quite often, after the pubs close, I hear women screaming outside my house - many's the time I've been concerned that maybe 999 should be called, but I never do.
One day I may be wrong not to do so - but how do you tell, when girls seem to enjoy screaming, frequently in a very convincing manner.

As a bible believer eve, perhaps you think that she should be stoned to death for not yelling...
Deuteronomy 22
//23 If a man happens to meet in a town a virgin pledged to be married and he sleeps with her, 24 you shall take both of them to the gate of that town and stone them to death—the young woman because she was in a town and did not scream for help,//
Or maybe have to marry her rapist...
Same chapter v 28
//28 If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, 29 he shall pay her father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the young woman, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives//
