Does anyone have any recommendations for free online crossword puzzles, please? I used to enjoy the Radio Times Cryptic before it got too hard for me.

The Telegraph & Times both require subscriptions & I don't know if the Mail, Express, Sun, Mirror etc are available free - I tend to think they aren't, but someone might disabuse me of that notion! :-)

I'm assuming you use Chrome - if so, navigate to the one you want then right-click, select
"Print" > "More Settings" (at the bottom left) > tick "Background Graphics" > then select only the page you want - eg, "2" in the "Pages" box (near top left).
I've never tried them, so can't comment on their difficulty levels.

Have you tried the US Crosswords for a change? The Chicago Tribune/LA Times free one is at http:// games.c hicagot ribune. com/gam es/dail y-cross word/ and there is an explanatory website on http:// crosswo rdcorne r.blogs pot.co. uk/. It's a bit different and will widen your exposure to US culture!!
