Manchester Airport T2 Restaurants
3 Answers
Has anyone got any idea what time the restaurants open in T2 at Manchester Airport. We will be at the airport approx. 0500, desperately starving and craving a bacon butty or full English depending on the nerves!!
Thanks for any info

and Spar (which sells sandwiches, etc):

The only food and drink outlet which actually specifies its hours is Caffe Ritazza. (0600 to 0400 daily)

The first flights from T2 leave at 0600.
That suggests that you might be lucky (if an outlet opens early enough to serve passengers on any of the four flights leaving at 0600) but you might be unwise to rely on it!
Your best chance of getting the type of food you're seeking might be at Frankie & Benny's. Phone 0161 490 4220 to check their hours.
Brodericks also serve bacon sandwiches. Phone 0844 335 3000 to find out if they'll be open.
Or try Gegg's (where you can usually get breakfast rolls) on 0161 498 6811.

Why not treat yourself and book into a VIP Lounge. It will not be much more expensive than buying food and drinks in the main Aitport concourse. It will certainly be more relaxing! Flight departure gates are also announced later than in the main concourse, so less time waiting there as well!

Personally I'd opt for the Aspire Lounge, they do food appropriate to the time of day! At 05.00 in the morning at Gatwick that means, unlimited fruit juices, cereals, bacon butties, tea coffee etc, plus the option of an alcoholic tipple, to help the nerves, if you are so inclined, champagne is however at extra cost! I have no doubt that the Manchester Aspire Lounge will offer the same facilities! MrsDocHH won't go on holiday unless we are booked into an Executive Lounge, we even now have to book into one on the way back!
To be honest she has now started insisting when we fly long-haul that we always travel in the best part of the plane!
