Now on the whole it is where people can't wait to answer but are never going to buy the quiz and support the charity so quizzing for free and saying they support other charities isn't the point. Lynne usually gives details of how to get a particular quiz but I doubt that those who answer then go and buy it. I am not looking to upset people but more and more setters are stopping setting quizzes because they put in the work and then they are turned into just like a raffle when nearly all of a quiz is asked. Why didn't pollee say it does say no asking but I am. Some people actually don't answer once they know what it says on the sheet
I agree smouse there is no harm in you letting us know that a setter has asked for no asking so we can decide for ourselves whether to help. Similaly details such as cllosing dates and whether those asking are asking for justa few or most of the quiz can help us decide. But I don't agree that people who answer questions are deprving charities by quizing for free - I do not think that quizzes would raise more if answerbank didn't exist, just I don't think abolishing dictionaries or Google search would bring in more money for charities.
So do you think its OK when the whole of a quiz is asked or most of it. Watch out for the date they can ask the lastest Rap quiz for example. I think if you are not doing a quiz yourself you don't realise how many are asked as you won't know how many questions there were and how many different people ask it. Unfortunately we are not allowed to make such comments as someone would have us removed.
Look everyone. This is my quiz. I set it. I made the decision to make it a no-asking quiz. I also made the decision a year ago not to advertise on here due to people asking for answers and/or clues. I have not had a drop in sales because of this but am extremely cheesed off that some of you choose to ignore my request of not to ask for the answers on this site. I have made a note of the 2 names of those who have asked and if I identify them they will be removed from my database. The odd hard clue sorts the chaff from the wheat, but all my clues are solvable without cheating. It takes hours to set a quiz, but only minutes to ruin one. If this continues I may well decide to stop writing quizzes and just give money to the Poppy Appeal instead. This would save me weeks of work.

I'm not sure who you are asking, there, smouse, but as the posts that preceded it were mine and danny's (and Mamyalynne but i know you are not getting at her posts) I'm wondering whether you were addressing me? If so, maybe you have completely misread my posts or mistaken me for someone else.
Maybe it wasn't aimed at me - maybe you were having another round against pollee 35.
