Looks like its poured with rain all night, still looks pretty wet everywhere. Certainly not a day for going out if you don't have to. Don't think I need to, for a change! I've got one parcel arriving today but that's it . Have quite a headache this morn so mite just be lazy today.

Any interesting plans for anyone today?

Very heavy rain here as well Smow, no sign of the higher temps either, were promised 13 degrees today but currently only 4, heating on again .

Good morning, pouring down here with gale force winds. Hope it clears up quickly.  Our wardrobe man is popping back this morning to re-measure due to us chnging our mind on it's positioning.  Good job he was too busy to have started it yet.

Other than that nothing on apart from pottering.

Good morning fourteen & ubasses x Yep 8:degrees here at mo - nothing like the 14/15 predicted yet. And also very windy here too. Weather really has been so tipsy turkey this year so far hasnt it. At this rate Christmas  Day could could bring anything weather-wise! lol.

Morning, we were supposed to be going on holiday today, but the transportation got cancelled due to the storm. Going tomorrow now.

Morning Smow and everyone. Bert has arrived here too but it has at least got rid of the remains of the snow. My computer tells me it is 9 c but i think it is lying.

Nothing much planned for today so will try and catch up on jobs. however I am a master of procrastination so we will see.

Morning Smow and all. British weather is grand! I had an appointment at 9 a.m. and it wasn't raining then. So grateful my jalopy passed the MOT yesterday because the heavens have opened now and already the drainage cannot cope with it, large puddles are growing on the road surfaces and very strong winds. I was going to do a little shopping but blow that for a game of toy soldiers...
So pleased to be home again and my coffee maker! Take care all and have the best day you can.

Late Good Morning Smow and others 😊 Living on the coast here in SE Scotland, there hasn't been much snow though bitterly cold. DDIL where are you bound for in Scotland? I note that all buses have been cancelled in Edinburgh (35 miles away)  and it's pretty horrendous up North - OK if you're going ski-ing⛷

Both the Met Office and Accuweather say it's 14°...all day. With gusts up to 60+ and heavy rain I'll not be going to check it out. I've got my doubts it's that 'warm'. Stay safe and dry all.

Good morning all. Well Smow, as you know, I live quite near you so our plan for the day is exactly the same as yours, enlivened by attempting to replace the strip light in the kitchen. He's too wobbly and I'm too short!
