Thanks, but it has six letters: ?L?A?T

I can see that fastening is an anagram of fans get in, but what about security device, sorry must seem very dim but no good at cryptic clues. Have struggled and solved the others!
One in factory = I in PLANT = 6 letters!!!
A fastening is a security device.

If you fasten you suitcase with a fastening you make it more secure.

Incidentally, what has happened to Sarumite? Haven't seen the name recently.
Don't be detered; once one gets used to how cryptic clues work they're fun and can do wonders for one's vocabulary (but it does require some persistence)
