Sharp Stabbing Pains In Chest- Could Be Anxietyi Thought Pulmonary Embolism But Warfarin Fine
3 Answers
Hi there I keep on getting this sharp intermittent pain in left side of the chest it lasts for about 5 seconds when it comes on it is very sharp. I had shingles in that area about a week ago after a course of antivirals all blisters cleared up it does not happen when walking fast so not particulary worried about my heart. I have been under a lot of stress and I am really anxious about a lot of things I am wondering if it could be that. I can put my finger on it it is between my left nipple and clavicle. I got my warfarin levels checked this morning and it was 2.5 so I dont think it could be a clot. So Im thinking either shingles pain or anxiety. or pre-cordial catch syndrome. Sorry to be a pain my mind is all over the place today and i think it is affecting me physically but what if ????

I don't mean frequently, just now and then. They were only fleeting . So don't worry about your heart or clots --I think it would be more rational to blame the shingles especially as you only had them a week ago.Anxiety and stress won't help so try to relax .
