btw I love shaggy dogs like your sis has & it's horrible when they go....still miss my mac especially at xmas, he loved it. He was so excited for you when you opened yet another box of gritty bathcubes that the 'giver' didn't notice your fixed grin.

yes, woofy posts do seem to come & go don't they but I'm never sure whether the person is in the dungeon or just likes to take their posts with them when they leave...like me & my handbag. Kit I hope all goes well for your sister, it's terrible to know a pet is failing. It happened to my cat and we had to wait 2 days for her to be put to sleep, terribly sad time.

Well washing machine which is 6 months old, needs a new programmer, I can't believe it, the way they build things these days.

Persisting here too and we were going into town but rain has stopped play . And i was so looking forward to a bag of chips and cockles .
Aaaaw Kit I am sorry to hear about the woofer .They give you so much pleasure and it is so sad when they go .I still get tearful over Shaney and he's been gone six months now.Tell your sister I am thinking about her ..I know how she feels ....and no we are not having another dog .! Not at the moment anyway .
As you know my Mum in law is getting on and has leukemia and I know it sounds morbid but if anything were to happen we will have to up sticks and spend time in Germany and it would not be fair to have an animal and then have to put it in kennels .So it's on the back burner for now .
I make do with Taz my nephews dog ....he's a husky and a ginger biscuit fanatic !

Hi Kit, my real name is Sheila. When i first went online, when dinosaurs roamed the planet, it was all bulletin boards and mostly inhabited by spotty male geeks (no offence Vinny et al, you are none of you spotty or geeky) If you were of the female persuasion, it was sensible to adopt a non gender specific or maleish name to avoid textual harrassment. Woofgang was the kennel affix of our dog at the time so I used that, then just kept it when I joined here. Everywhere else i am known as sheilaj but I just never changed it here.

that's odd... I put an extra < / i > in my post before 'spaghetti' so everything after that looks ok to me. Everything up to there, in my post and in everything since Robinia put a Spaniard in the works, is in italics on Beta. But I can read it all in Beta and ordinary.
