I box Meltis Fruits

One of the most useless prizes I ever won, not that I have won many, was a box of sugared almonds, which remained in the pantry for ages before I managed to get rid of them by putting them on the coffee table for people to help themselves. Thank goodness other people liked them - I hate wasting things.
Well dotty, you see I'd made some, hubby bought some and I won that hamper just before Christmas, that 's where this tin has come from. I'd got After 8 mints, but we had the Bendicks bittermint selection out of the hamper, the Meltis fruits I bought for my dad, but my mother had done the same and bought a box down too (he doesn't like chocolate you see) the Turkish Delight is from a neighbour, (too sweet for us) and the Baileys Dad bought not realising there are different flavours now.
The hambone is really meaty, there must be at least 2 and a 1/2-3lb of succulent lean ham on it - it weighed 16lb to start!
Feelin generous, have what you like - help yourselves, just found an unopened tin of Quality Street, my festive napkins with the holly on them and a box of crackers (good ones, 'prizes' inside are small silver plated photo frame, tool kit, bottle stopper, torch key ring, lipstick holder with mirror and a big pound sign keyring) they were in the shopping trolley under the stairs, I'd hunted high and low for them too!
