Selling Bone China

My Dads' go a nearly full set of bone china kitchen ware (cups, saucers, plates, jugs, etc. Probably around 100 pieces) that's about 40 years old. I don't think it's ever been used and is currently just wasting space in the garage.

It was probably from a mass produced collection so unlikely it holds any real value. What's the best route to go down for selling it that doesn't involve Ebay?

If it's mass produced there must be a makers stamp on the bottom and also possibly the name of the collection..........then google it.

I briefly wondered about an auction place but being sure the stuff he has is worth next to nothing I'm not sure it would be worth it.

The china should have manufacturers name and design reference on bottom of cups and plates. Check out on web to see if there is any market for it. If it's halfway decent and currently not produced there may be collectors out there looking to complete there sets and willing to pay. There are also commercial orgs who provide a replacement service and may quote you to buy up your Dad's stuff.

Righty ho. I'll find out the brand/collection and see if I can find an organisation/auction house that might be interested in taking it off my hands with as little effort from me as possible.

Realllllly can't be bothered to go through every single piece to note any chips, scratches, etc.
