My 21st birthday is coming up and I'm beginning to plan a night out in London. I'm a girl.

Problem is, I rarely venture into Central London at all so not too sure where to start with choosing a venue to take all my buddies - male & female.

I need: Somewhere fairly cheesy - or at least somewhere that plays a lot of stuff you can sing and dance to. We're not hardcore clubbers to say the least and don't want to be bombarded with hip-hop either. A rounded selection would be good (but mostly cheese!!). I also need somewhere that's not overly bothered about dress codes as I am thinking perhaps fancy dress is on the cards..?

Any ideas as to where I can take my troops?

How about the Guilty Pleasures nights? They are very cheesy!
Roxys just off of Oxford Street (nearest tube station Tottenham Court Road). More info here:

i've been there a couple of times for birthdays, hate the place personally, i dont go out to listen to music like that personally, but if that's what you want, it's a decent place and all.

if it gets too much Metro is just around the corner, underground indie club. a smidgen better.

have a good one.

Both excellent places to go. Whatever you end up doing, enjoy and have fun! Oh and Happy Birthday for when it is x
