Ive got to go to the Crown Court on monday and the reason for that is: one of my work mate reported me and said i broked into her house and stoled some money and a mobile from her. The only evidence shes got against me is her statemant and she could identified me (which is preatty obviously coz shes worked with me months ago). I have a good character (upstanding character, full time job, paying taxes, ni number, house renting, cars insurance, tv license...etc)
They are the facts: there is no forensic evidence, no witness (apart of my brother who confirmed i was at home), no items have been found by the police in my addresse which is belong to her, no tools have been found, no clothes what she said i was wearing on that night (i wasnt there!!!!!! i did not even know where she lives what was her name), shes made an issue when shes described me (even she knew who i am she said i am 35-36 years old but i am only 26!!!), the distance between our adresse is for about 10-15 miles (how did i get there not the get caught by any CCTV, traffic or shop cameras, my car has been parking in front of my house...etc), there is no CCTV, video-photo-shop cameras has been reckorded me on that area (as i said i was in my bed), there is no sign of somebody get into her house or flat by force (no broken window, no broken lock or door---shes actually said shes left the door open and i just walked into her house "what a coincidence") and ive got the change my solicitor because there is an other male is showed up who could well have been responsible for this crime. But shes keep saying it was me (shes a liar i think it is very obviously for everyone)
Can i get discharged tomorrow on the firts hearing? Can my case still reach the trial on the Crown Court without sufficient evidence against me?
Please answer me as soon as you could
Kind regards

By the way my new solicitor dosent know anything: they send me a letter with a different appointment of the court, they called me up and said i am not paying my legal aid but i was!!
This all story is just out of order i think

The problem is i do not know more then i just shared with you...I ve recieved a phone call and a letter which is said to me this: " Unfortunately, a glaring conflict of interest has arrisen in that there is a male mentioned in the papers as a person who could well have been responsible for the offence it is alleged you have committed. That person is someone who we represent and on that basis it is not in your interest for us to represent you."
I hope now it dose have some meaning :D
Ive got 25 minutes left and ive got to go to the Court :(

Just because a firm of Solicitors appears to accept that it may be 'another' of their clients who is responsible for this crime, it does not necessarily follow that so will the courts.
If you take the letter to the court, it will help explain why you have no proper legal representation, and it may lead to additional questions being asked, by the court, as to the strength/weight of evidence against you.

Hello Trickman111, I am so sorry to hear of this problem, from what you have told us I think you will be ok at the Crown Court, go to the court looking very smart in appearance and answer all questions gently do not get angry speak quietly, listen to what the judge says to you and answer only the questions that are put to you. Please tell us later on here how you got on and we wish you good fortune. Ron.
